Create a TMR header

A Technical Material Requisition (TMR) header contains the identification details of a TMR, such as the TMR ID, external and internal status of the TMR, related supplier information, and so on.

  1. Navigate to the s50016 Technical Material Requisition screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

    In the Technical Material Requisition Header grid, a blank row is created.

  4. Select the General tab and perform the following:

    1. From the Project dropdown, select the ID of the project for which you want to create a TMR.

    2. From the System dropdown, select the ID of the required system.

    3. In the TMR Id field, enter a unique ID of the TMR.

      The TMR ID is generated automatically by the system. However, you can also manually define the TMR ID.

    4. From the Approver dropdown, select the ID of the user responsible for approving the TMR for procurement.

  5. Select the Supplier tab, from the Supplier Id dropdown, select the ID of the preferred supplier for the TMR.

  6. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s50016 Field descriptions.

  7. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The TMR header is created.
