Issue a hull material DRL

After creating and adding materials to a hull material Delivery Request List (DRL), the next step is to issue the hull material DRL to the warehouse. For more information on how to create and add materials to a hull material DRL, see Create and update a hull material DRL.

1. Navigate to the s30003 Hull Material Delivery Request List screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Hull Material Delivery Request List grid, select a row.

   The default status of the hull material DRL is DRL Not Completed and the Picking List Status field is O-DRL (DRL Not Completed).

4. On the s30003 menu, in the Status group, select DRL Completed.

   The system initiates a check of the mandatory validation rules to ensure the following:

   • The Production Date field in the hull material DRL header contains a value.

   • The Stock Site field in the hull material DRL header contains a valid site ID.

   • The System related to the hull material DRL item is active.

   • The Cost Account related to the hull material DRL item is active.

   • The assigned material related to the hull material DRL is active.

   • If the Can Only Request Available Material checkbox is selected in d0073 ERM System Settings dialog, the system checks if the quantity of requested materials exceeds the quantity of materials available on site. If yes, a validation error appears indicating the material availability status.

   • If the Production Date of the hull material DRL is different from the start date of the activity related to the hull material DRL, then the Update Production Date dialog appears. To update the Production Date is as per the start date, select Yes.

   If the validation is successful, the status of the hull material DRL changes to DRL Completed and the Picking List Status field changes to C-DRL (DRL Completed).

5. On the s30003 menu, in the Status group, select In Warehouse Dispatch List.

   The stock site is verified. If the verification is successful, the value in the Picking List Status field changes to WAREH (DRL in Warehouse Dispatch List) and the d0024 Release For Dispatch View dialog appears.

   In the Hull Material Delivery Request List Item grid, in the SI field, view the material availability status for the date specified in the Production Date field.

6. To view the quantity of the material that affects the balance for each transaction, select each row, and view the details in the Material Balance grid.

7. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The hull material DRL is issued.
