Create an email template type

Create an email template type to group multiple translations of an email template. For example, you can create an email template type for delivery reminder, purchase order, call-off order, and so on.

  1. Navigate to the s00027 E-Mail Templates screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

    In the Template Types grid, a blank row is created.

  4. Select the General tab and perform the following:

    1. In the Id field, enter the unique name of a template type.

    2. From the Entity dropdown, select the ID of the required entity.

      The selected entity determines the context in which you can use the email and the information you can include in the email.

  5. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s00027 Field descriptions.

  6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The email template type is created.
