Retire a piping MTO line

Retire a piping Material Take-Off (MTO) line and all the related MTO items. If you retire an approved piping MTO line, the approved quantity for all the MTO items related to the piping MTO line are updated to 0 and the material requirements are removed from the s50022 Material Status List screen.
To update a retired piping MTO line, you can reopen the piping MTO line. For more information, see Reopen a piping MTO line.

Navigate to the s22040 Piping MTO screen.

In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the MTO Lines grid, select a row.

On the s22040 menu, in the Workflow group, from the Workflow dropdown, select Retire.
In the MTO Lines grid, in the General tab, the value in the MTO Status field is updated to Retired.
If the selected piping MTO line was previously in the Approved status, then for each MTO item related to the piping MTO line, in the General tab, the values in the Confirmed Quantity and the Last Issued Qty (approved quantity) fields are updated to 0.

To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
