As an administrator, set performance enhancing options for the List of Values (LOV) available in different screens in AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

  1. Navigate to the s00062 LOV Performance Options screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. On the Home tab, in the Record group, select Create.

In the LOV Performance Options grid, a blank row is created.

  4. Select the General tab, from the Type dropdown, select the LOV data type affected by the performance options.

  5. Perform any of the following:

    • To control the search and improve search accuracy by applying a placeholder at the beginning of all searches, from the Search Semantic dropdown, select a phrase.

For example, if the user input to search for a fabricate ID is FAB and from the Search Semantic dropdown, you select Starts with, then the system displays all the data which begins with FAB, such as FAB_1, FAB_2, FAB_13, and so on.

    • To apply a global record limit to all LOVs of the same type, select the LOV Limit checkbox. When selected, the amount of data loaded in the LOV for the selected Type across AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management follows the limit set in the d0073 ERM System Settings dialog. For more information on how to set the LOV limit, see Set LOV limit.

    • To disable the AND or OR logic used for searching data in LOVs, select the LOV Disable Logic checkbox.

    • To match and filter a search input only against the first column and ignore other columns in the LOV, select the LOV Single Column Search checkbox.

  6. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
