Common fields in the screen

Field

Description

SI

Status Indicator: Indicates the status of a record related to validation errors, warnings, and updates.

Defined By

The ID of a user who created a record.

Defined At

The date and time when a record was created.

Updated By

The ID of a user who updated a record.

Updated At

The date and time when a record was updated.

Pipelines grid

The following table describes the fields in the General tab.

Field

Description

Pipeline Number

The unique name of a pipeline.

Description

The description of a pipeline.

Rev

The revision number of a pipeline.

Ver

The version number of a pipeline.

Process Area

The process area of a pipeline. The valid process areas are defined and marked as active in the s22001 Process Areas screen.

System

The ID of a system related to a pipeline. The valid systems are defined and marked as active in the s10004 Set-Up Project Structure and Systems screen.

Insulation Type

The insulation type related to a pipeline. The valid insulation types are defined and marked as active in the s22005 Insulation Types screen.

Insulation Specification

The ID of an insulation specification related to a pipeline. The valid insulation specifications are defined and marked as active in the s81210 Specifications screen.

Drawing Required

Indicates whether a drawing is required for a pipeline. If the Drawing Required checkbox is selected, ensure the drawing is associated to the pipeline before a Material Take Off (MTO) request is approved.

Service

The process related to a pipeline.

External Seq

The process sequence number related to a pipeline.

MTO Type

The code of the MTO type related to a pipeline.

Line To

The destination of a pipeline.

Line From

The source of a pipeline.

PED

The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) for a pipeline.

Status

Indicates the status of a pipeline. If the Status checkbox is selected, the pipeline is available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

Zones

The zone where a pipeline is located.

Description

Temperature Unit

The unit of measure for the design temperature of a pipeline.

Pressure Unit

The unit of measure for the design pressure of a pipeline.

Specification

The ID of a piping specification related to a pipeline. The valid piping specifications are defined and marked as active in the s81210 Specifications screen.

Fluid Code

The fluid code related to a pipeline. The valid fluid codes are defined and marked as active in the s22004 Fluid Codes screen.

Main Size

The bore diameter of a pipeline.

Corrosion Allowance

The corrosion allowance value of a pipeline.

Design Temperature 1–Design Temperature 4

The design temperature of a pipeline.

Design Pressure 1–Design Pressure 4

The design pressure of a pipeline.

Operating Temperature 1–Operating Temperature 4

The operating temperature of a pipeline.

Operating Pressure 1–Operating Pressure 4

The operating pressure of a pipeline.

The following table describes the fields in the P&ID tab.

P&ID Line Number

The line number of a Piping and Instrument Drawing (P&ID) related to a pipeline.

P&ID Number

The P&ID number related to a pipeline.

P&ID Title

The drawing title of the P&ID related to a pipeline.

Issue Purpose

The purpose for issuing a revision to the P&ID.
