Create a drawing discipline

Use a drawing discipline to categorize different types of drawings according to your business requirements. For example, a drawing discipline for electrical drawings, architectural drawings, piping drawings, structural drawings, and so on.

1. Navigate to the s20015 Drawing Disciplines screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Disciplines For Drawing grid, a blank row is created.

4. Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

   • Discipline code: The unique code of a drawing discipline.

   • Description: The description of the drawing discipline.

5. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s20015 Field descriptions.

6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The drawing discipline is created.
