Add project components to a part list

Add predefined project components from the catalogue to a part list.

  1. Navigate to the s21000 Part Lists screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Part Lists grid, select a row.

  4. On the s21000 menu, in the Add Positions group, from the From Catalogue dropdown, select Project Components.

    The d0002 Project Component Multi Item Select dialog appears.

  5. To refresh the dialog, select the F5 key.

    The project components in the Fully Validated status appear.

  6. In the ProjectComponent grid, select one or more materials, and then select the Enter key.

    The selected materials appear in the Selected Items grid.

  7. In the Selected Items grid, in the Req Quantity field, enter the required quantity for each material.

  8. Select Insert.

    The materials appear in the Part List Items grid.

  9. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s21000 Field descriptions.

  10. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The project components are added to the part list.
