Staging area / Configuration backup

To assist system administrators verify that all staging areas and configuration elements (for example, Lua scripts) are included in backups, AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management provides a report that lists the full paths of all folders that require backup.
As new projects are added to AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management, project folders are created in additional locations. In such cases, the backup policy is updated to include these new paths. Define clear standards for folder locations. For example, storing all project folders in a single root directory or running the backup report regularly to ensure that all required folders are covered by the backup policy.
To run the report, perform the following:

Open AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management with administrative privileges.

In the navigation pane, select Reports & Data Extracts.

Open the Administration Report folder.

Run the r00002 Folder Backup report.
Review the report output and ensure that all listed folders are backed up according to your organization’s backup requirements. For example, daily backups.
