Add materials to a TMR from a material status list

From the Purchasing View tab, add material requirements to an existing Technical Material Requisition (TMR) or create a new TMR and add material requirements. You cannot transfer supplementary items to a TMR. Additionally, you can set Reorder Point (ROP), the standard material stock level when the material is reordered, and reorder quantity, the quantity of material to be reordered at ROP.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, complete the following:

Ensure the TMR Quantity field in the Material Status grid has a positive number.

Ensure the status of the TMR is Open.
To add materials to a TMR

Navigate to the s50022 Material Status List screen.

Select the Purchasing View tab.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Material grid, select a row.

In the Site grid, select a row.
-
In the Material Balance grid, in the Material Balance tab, select a row.

In the TMR Quantity field, enter the required material quantity.

On the s50022 menu, in the Material Requisition group, select Add Items to TMR.
The d0063 Transfer Requirement to TMR dialog appears.

In the TMR Selection section, select one of the following:

Create new TMR: To add material requirements to a new TMR.

Add to TMR: To add material requirements to an existing TMR. Perform the following:

From the TMR Id dropdown, select the required TMR. Ensure the status of the TMR is Create or Change.

In the Settings section, select any of the following as required:

Include Documents: To add documents associated with the material requirements to the TMR as TMR positions.
-
Include Attachments: To add attachments associated with the material requirements to the TMR as TMR positions.

Select Transfer to TMR.
For Create new TMR selection, a new TMR is created and added to the Technical Material Requisition Header grid in the s50016 Technical Material Requisition screen, and the material requirements are added to the Technical Material Requisition Position grid, in the Technical Material Requisition Position tab. For Add to TMR selection, the s50016 Technical Material Requisition screen appears and the material requirements are added to the Technical Material Requisition Position grid, in the Technical Material Requisition Position tab for the selected TMR.
To save a new TMR

In the Technical Material Requisition Header grid, select the TMR to which the materials are added.

Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

Project: The ID of a project related to a TMR.

TMR Id: The unique number of a TMR. The TMR Id is generated automatically by the system. However, you can also manually define the Id.

System: The main system to which a requisition is procured. Ensure you enter the system number only after entering a valid project ID in the Project field.

Approver: The user responsible for approving a requisition for procurement.

Issue Purpose: The purpose for issuing a TMR.

Select the Supplier tab, in the Supplier Id field, enter the ID of the preferred supplier for a requisitioned material.

Select the Technical Material Requisition Position tab, in the Technical Material Requisition Position grid, select a row.

Select the Delivery tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

Required on Site At: The date when the TMR items are required on site.

Delivery Required At: The default delivery requirement date for the TMR items to ensure the items are available on site when required.

(Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s50022 Field descriptions.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
To save an exisiting TMR

In the Technical Material Requisition Header grid, select the TMR to which the materials are added.

Select the Technical Material Requisition Position tab, in the Technical Material Requisition Position grid, select a row.

Select the Delivery tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

Required on Site At: The date when the TMR items are required on site.

Delivery Required At: The default delivery requirement date for the TMR items to ensure the items are available on site when required.

(Optional) Modify the TMR according to your requirements. For more information on all the fields, see s50022 Field descriptions.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
