Release a material requirement to another hull material DRL

Release an unused material in a hull material Delivery Request List (DRL). You can release an unused material when a job is completed, but not all assigned materials are used. You can transfer any unpicked material to another hull material DRL to complete a part of an activity through a different DRL. You can release any unpicked materials and add the unpicked materials to the outstanding quantity of the linked material take-off or part list, so that you can use the unpicked materials in another hull material DRL.

1. Navigate to the s30003 Hull Material Delivery Request List screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Hull Material Delivery Request List grid, select a row.

4. On the s30003 menu, in the Options group, select Close Out DRL.

   The d0273 Close Out DRL dialog appears.

5. To refresh the dialog, select the F5 key.

   In the Close Out DRL grid, the hull material DRL items appear.

6. In the Close Out DRL grid, select one or more rows.

7. From the Release to other DRL dropdown, select one of the following:

   • All Line Items: To transfer all items to another hull material DRL.

   • Selected Line Items only: To transfer selected items to another hull material DRL.

   The Disposition field is updated.

8. (Optional) To reset the value in the Disposition field, from the Reset dropdown, select one of the following:

   • All Line Items: To reset the value of all items in the hull material DRL.

   • Selected Line Items only: To reset the value of selected items in the hull material DRL.

9. To close the dialog, select Ok.

   In the Hull Material Delivery Request List Item grid, for the released material, the NP (No Pick) checkbox is cleared. The released materials appear in the s11001 Project Gantt View screen and the s21012 Pallet List screen.

10. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
