Retire a TMR

Retire a Technical Material Requisition (TMR) and all the related TMR positions. After you retire a TMR , the TMR positions remain in the system, but are not available for use in other screens.

To update a retired TMR, you can reopen the TMR or raise the revision of the TMR. For more information, see Reopen a TMR and Raise the revision of a TMR.

  1. Navigate to the s50016 Technical Material Requisition screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Technical Material Requisition Header grid, select a row.

  4. On the s50016 menu, in the Requisition Options group, from the Workflow dropdown, select Retire.

    A pop-up window appears.

  5. Read the message and select Yes.

    The TMR is retired and the value in the Internal status field is updated to Retired/Expired.

  6. (Optional) To undo the workflow update, on the s50016 menu, in the Requisition Options group, from the Workflow dropdown, select Undo Workflow Actions.

  7. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
