Split a location for a delivery note position.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

1. Ensure you have the Can Create Locations or Full Access UI rights to the s60028 Stock item Delivery Registration screen. For more information on how to define UI access rights, see Assign UI rights to a user role.

2. For a delivery note, in the General tab, perform the following:

   1. In the Rec Type field, ensure the value is not Shipping Note Receipt.

   2. In the Receipt Status field, ensure the value is not RECEIVED.

3. For a delivery note, in the Position grid, perform one of the following:

   • For a delivery note of receipt type Free Receipt, in the Free Issue Material tab, in the Free Issue Material grid, in the General tab, in the Received Qty field, ensure a value is defined.

   • For a delivery note of receipt type PO/MMT Receipt, in the Po Items tab, in the Po items grid, in the Material Details tab in the General tab, in the Received Qty field, ensure a value is defined.

4. Navigate to the s60028 Stock item Delivery Registration screen.

5. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

6. In the Delivery Note grid, select a row.

7. In the Position grid, perform one of the following:

   • If the receipt of the delivery note is of type PO/MMT Receipt, in Po Items tab, in the Po Items grid, select a row.

   • If the receipt of the delivery note is of type Free Receipt, in the Free Issue Material tab, in the Free Issue Material grid, select a row.

8. On the s60028 menu, in the Receipt Locations group, select Split Location.

   The d0339 Split Receipt Across Locations dialog appears.

9. In the Receipt Locations section, select Add Location.

   In the grid, a blank row is created.

10. In the grid, in the Quantity field, enter the quantity of the items shifted to a new location.

    Note: Ensure, the total of the values in the Quantity field for all the locations is equal to the value in the Received Qty field, in the Information section.

11. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required.

12. (Optional) In the Material Details - Indicate which material instances are to be placed at the location selected above section, assign material instances to a specific location.

13. Select Save and Exit.

    For the selected delivery note position, in the General tab, the value in the Site, Storehouse, and Location dropdowns is updated to <Multiple Locations>.
