Create a standard text

A standard text is a piece of predefined content frequently used in a Technical Material Requisition, Request For Quote, Purchase Order, Purchase Agreement, and other documents. You can add standard texts to the relevant screens through the d0071 Select Standard Text dialog.

Navigate to the s50011 Standard Texts screen.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.
In the Standard Texts grid, a blank row is created.

Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

Standard Text ID: The unique ID of a standard text.

Description: The description of a standard text.

(Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s50011 Field descriptions.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
The standard text is created.
