Create a procurement milestone

A procurement milestone determines a key activity within a procurement process. For example, create a purchase order, issue a request for quote, and so on. Create a procurement milestone to use in a procurement schedule. If a project is selected for a procurement milestone, the milestone is available for use only in procurement schedules related to the selected project. If a project is not selected for a procurement milestone, the Corporate checkbox is selected, and the milestone is available for use in procurement schedules related to any project.

Navigate to the s50033 Procurement Milestones screen.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.
In the Procurement Milestones grid, a blank row is created.

Select the General tab, from the Schedule Item Type dropdown, select M (Procurement Milestone).

Enter the relevant details in the following fields:

Id: The unique ID of a procurement milestone.

Description: The description of the procurement milestone.

(Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s50033 Field descriptions.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
The procurement milestone is created.
