Create a transport term

A transport term defines the transport conditions for a material. The company and the supplier agree on the mode of transportation for a purchase order. For example, you can transport materials by aircraft, railways, sea, road, and so on.

1. Navigate to the s50004 Standard Transport Terms screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Transport Terms grid, a blank row is created.

4. Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

   • Transport Term ID: The unique ID of a transport term.

   • Description: The description of a transport term.

5. (Optional) Enter relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s50004 Field descriptions.

6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The transport term is created.
