Create a currency code and set the current rate for the currency code.
-
Navigate to the s00006 Currencies screen.
-
On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.
In the Currencies grid, a blank row is created.
-
Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:
-
Currency Id: The unique code of a currency.
-
Description: The description or official name of the currency code.
-
From Rate: The rate of the currency in relation to the system currency. The system currency is defined in the System Currency field, in the d0073 ERM System Settings dialog.
For example, if the value defined in the Currency Id field is INR and if the value defined in the System Currency field is DKK, then the value in the From Rate field indicates the equivalent of 1 INR in DKK.
-
To Rate: The inverse of From Rate. The inverse value is automatically calculated by the application after you specify the From Rate value.
For example, if the value defined in the Currency id field is INR and if the value defined in the System Currency field is DKK, then the value in the To Rate field indicates the equivalent of 1 DKK in INR.
