Setup SMTP access

Some AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management functionalities require the application server components to send email notifications. To support the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management functionality which requires the application server components to send email notifications, an email is relayed through the SMTP server configured in AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management Deployment Manager.

The SMTP account credentials are specified in the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management Deployment Manager based on the SMTP server configuration. Ensure the SMTP server is configured correctly and permits mail relaying from the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management application server hostnames or IP addresses.
