Add fabricates to an RFQ

Add predefined fabricates from the catalogue to a Request For Quote (RFQ). Ensure you have the Can Add Deliverable Items or Full Access UI rights to the s50019 Request for Quote screen. For more information on how to define UI access rights, see Assign UI rights to a user role.

1. Navigate to the s50019 Request for Quote screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Request for Quote Header grid, select a row.

4. On the s50019 menu, in the Add Positions group, from the From Catalogue dropdown, select Fabricates.

   The d0122 Fabricated Item Selection dialog appears.

5. To refresh the dialog, select the F5 key.

6. In the Fabricates grid, select one or more materials, and then select the Enter key.

   The selected materials appear in the SelectedFabricate grid.

7. In the SelectedFabricate grid, in the Quantity field, enter the required quantity for each material.

8. Select Insert.

   The materials appear in the Request for Quote Position grid.

9. In the Request for Quote Position grid, select a row, select the General tab, and then perform the following:

   • From the System dropdown, select the ID of the required system.

   • From the Required on Site At dropdown, select the date when the materials are required on site.

   • From the Delivery Required At dropdown, select the date when the materials are required to be delivered at the location set in the delivery terms.

     Note: Repeat step 9 for each row.

10. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s50019 Field descriptions.

11. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The fabricates are added to the RFQ.
