Update an integration service for PML compatibility

Make an integration service compatible with applications that use Programmable Macro Language (PML) code, such as AVEVA E3D (Version 2.1 Fix 15 and later), and AVEVA Marine (Version 12.1 SP5 Fix 7 and later). To make an integration service compatible with Engineering and Design, ensure you use either PML Safe or Non PML Safe functionalities as per your requirement.

1. Navigate to the s14001 Integration Service screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. On the s14001 menu, in the Pml Compatibility group, select PML Safe.

   A pop-up window appears.

4. Select Ok.

   In the Integration Service grid, in the General tab, the Source Table field is updated with the name of the database related to the integration service.

   The values in the fields of all the integration services are updated and all the occurrences of underscores (_) in the values are removed. All the integration services are compatible with products that use PML code.
