Create a part list header for a fabricate

Use a part list header to define and maintain a list of materials required to construct the fabricate.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, complete the following:

In the General tab, ensure the value in the External Status field of the fabricate is V (Fully Validated).

Ensure the status of the project related to the fabricate is Closed.

In the General tab, ensure the Ref PL checkbox is cleared for the fabricate.

Ensure all the changes related to the fabricate are saved.
To create a part list header for a fabricate

Navigate to the s20017 Fabricate Catalogue screen.

In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Fabricate Catalogue grid, select a row.

On the s20017 menu, in the Actions group, select Create Part List Header.
The d0120 Create Part List Header dialog appears.

(Optional) In the Options section, perform the following:

To copy the system number of the fabricate to the part list header, select the Use System checkbox.

To copy the cost account number of the fabricate to the part list header, select the Use Cost Account checkbox.

Select Save.
The s21015 Fabricate Part Lists screen appears. In the Part Lists grid, the part list header is created for the selected fabricate.

(Optional) Modify the part list according to your requirements. For information on all the fields, see s21015 Field descriptions.

To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
