Copy a fabricate part list to a project

Copy a fabricate part list from the source project to a target project.

1. Navigate to the s21015 Fabricate Part Lists screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Part Lists grid, select a fabricate part list you want to copy.

4. On the s21015 menu, in the Copy group, select To Project.

   The d0126 Copy Fabricate Part List to Project dialog appears.

5. From the Target Project dropdown, select the ID of the target project.

6. (Optional) In the Options section, perform any of the following:

   • To include the fabricate part list items in all purchase requirements in the s50022 Material Status List screen and the s50017 Buyers Queue screen, select the For Construction checkbox.

     In the target project, in the copied fabricate part list, the For Construction checkbox is selected for the fabricate part list items.

   • To include the fabricate part list items as a requisition in a part list, a delivery request list, or a picking list in the target project, select the For Requisition checkbox.

     In the target project, in the copied fabricate part list, the For Requisition checkbox is selected for the fabricate part list items.

7. In the Part Lists to copy section, select one of the following:

   • All: To copy all the fabricate part lists from the source project to the target project.

   • Selected: To copy only the selected fabricate part lists from the source project to the target project.

8. To validate the fabricate part list copy, select Test.

   A pop-up window displaying the test result appears.

9. Perform one of the following as required:

   • If the validation is successful, select Ok.

     The pop-up window closes.

   • If the validation is not successful, select Ok, and select the Details tab for more information. Perform the necessary actions and validate the copy again.

10. Select Copy.

    The number of fabricate part lists and items that are copied, not copied, and included in the copy are listed in the Summary tab. For more information, see the Details tab.

    The fabricate part list is copied from the source project to the target project.

11. To close the d0126 Copy Fabricate Part List to project dialog, select Exit.

12. (Optional) To modify the copied fabricate part list according to your requirements, perform the following:

    1. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

    2. In the Part Lists grid, select the fabricate part list copy, and modify according to your requirements.

    3. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
