Common fields in the screen

Field

Description

SI

Status Indicator: Indicates the status of a record related to validation errors, warnings, and updates.

Defined By

The ID of a user who created a record.

Defined At

The date and time when a record was created.

Updated By

The ID of a user who updated a record.

Updated At

The date and time when a record was updated.

Standard Units grid

The following table describes the fields in the General tab.

Field

Description

Unit of Measure

The unique code of a standard unit.

Unit Name

The name of a standard unit.

Standard Unit

The code of a standard unit. For a unit of measure, if the value in the Coefficient field is 1, then the unit of measure is considered as a standard unit.

Coefficient

The numerical value to indicate the relative measure of a Standard Unit compared to a Unit of Measure. For example, if the value in the Unit of Measure field is KG, to define a conversion from kilograms to grams, select G from the Standard Unit dropdown and enter 1000 in the Coefficient field. Additionally, to define a unit of measure as a standard unit, ensure the value in the Coefficient field is 1.

Category

The ID of a category related to a standard unit. The valid values are defined and maintained in the s00044 Unit of Measure Categories screen.

Status

Indicates the status of a standard unit. If the Status checkbox is selected, the standard unit is available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

Special Indicator

Indicates the standard unit handles conversions between Celsius and Fahrenheit. You can use the Special Indicator dropdown only if the value in the Category field is Temperature. The valid values are defined and maintained in the s00044 Unit of Measure Categories screen.
