Create a user role

A role is a logical mapping of access rights to screens and reports.

  1. Navigate to the s00030 Roles screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

    In the Roles grid, a blank row is created.

  4. Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

    • Id: The unique ID of a user role.

    • Description: The description of the user role.

  5. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The user role is created.
