You can add a specification defined in the s81210 Specifications screen as a Material Take-Off (MTO) item for a general MTO line. At a later stage in the project, if the specification is updated in the s81210 Specifications screen, then use the Re-apply Specification functionality to apply the latest specification changes to the general MTO line.

For the general MTO line, in the MTO Lines grid, in the General tab, in the MTO Status field, ensure the value is No MTO, Working, or Confirmed.

  1. Navigate to the s22041 General MTO screen.

  2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

  3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  4. In the MTO Lines grid, select a row.

  5. On the s22041 menu, in the Options group, select Re-apply Specification.

The specification changes are applied to the selected general MTO line.

  6. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
