Recalculate a material summary

Recalculate a material summary to update the quantities of the material summary based on the usability of a Material Take-Off (MTO). The recalculation of a material summary does not affect the revision of an MTO included in the material summary. You can only recalculate a material summary with the value in the Status field as Open.

1. Navigate to the s21026 Material Summaries screen.

2. In the Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the Summaries grid, select a row.

5. On the s21026 menu, in the Options group, from the Recalculate Material Summary dropdown, perform one of the following:

   • To clear manual adjustments made in the Summary Content grid, in the Materials tab, and recalculate the material summary, select Clear Manual Adjustments and Update.

   • To keep manual adjustments made in the Summary Content grid, in the Materials tab, and recalculate the material summary, select Keep Manual Adjustments and Update.

   The Job Started pop-up window appears. A job is triggered in the background to update the details of the selected overissue material.

   When the Job Completed pop-up window appears, the update is completed.

   The selected material summary is recalculated.
