Add a material to a left over hull material

Convert any remaining hull material scrap to a left over hull material by adding a hull plate or a hull profile material from the s30017 Hull Plate and Profile Catalogue screen to a left over hull material.

1. Navigate to the s30010 Hull Material Left Over screen.

2. In the Original Hull Material section, perform the following:

   • From the Project dropdown, select the ID of the project related to a Delivery Request List (DRL) of a picked hull material.

   • From the Nesting ID dropdown, select the nesting ID of the picked hull material.

   • From the DRL Number dropdown, select the DRL number related to the picked hull material.

   • From the Hull Material Id dropdown, select the ID of the picked hull material.

3. In the New Hull Material section, perform the following:

   • In the Hull Material Id field, enter the hull material ID of the left over material.

   • In the L field, enter the length of the left over hull material.

   • In the b field, enter the breadth of the left over material.

4. In the Storage section, perform the following:

   • From the Site dropdown, select the code to identify a site where the left over hull material is stored.

   • From the Storehouse dropdown, select the code to identify a storehouse within the site.

   • From the Location dropdown, select the code to identify a specific location within the storehouse.

5. On the s30010 menu, in the Actions group, select Add Material Details to LeftOver.

   The d0094 Select Picked Material Detail dialog appears.

6. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

   In the Material Details grid, the list of values for the Instance Id field in the Original Hull Material section appears.

7. In the Material Details grid, select a row, and then select OK.

   Ensure the value in the Picked Quantity field for the selected material is greater than 0.

   The selected material appears in the Selected Items grid.

8. Select OK.

   If the dimensions of the selected material is the same as the dimensions in the s30017 Hull Plate and Profile Catalogue screen, then in the s30017 Hull Plate and Profile Catalogue screen, the Left Over checkbox is selected for the Hull Material Id.

   If the dimensions of the selected material differs from the dimensions in the s30017 Hull Plate and Profile Catalogue screen, then in the s30017 Hull Plate and Profile Catalogue screen, a new Hull Material Id is created and the Left Over checkbox is selected.
