Common fields in the screen

Field

Description

SI

Status Indicator: Indicates the status of a record related to validation errors, warnings, and updates.

Defined By

The ID of a user who created a record.

Defined At

The date and time when a record was created.

Updated By

The ID of a user who updated a record.

Updated At

The date and time when a record was updated.

Control Block

Field

Description

Global

Loads resources available across all projects.

Project

The ID of a project related to a resource.

Resources grid

The following table describes the fields in the General tab.

Description

Identification

The unique ID of a resource.

Description

The description of a resource.

Parent resource

The ID of a parent resource related to a child resource.

Calendar

The ID of a calendar related to a resource.

Color

The ID of a color related to a resource.

Capacity

The per day capacity of a machine related to a resource. The value in the Capacity field is applicable for machines, utility resources, and human resources.

Default Cost

The default cost per unit of a resource.

Resource Type

The unique ID of a resource type. The valid values are defined in the s00025 Resource Type screen.

Status

Indicates the status of a resource. If the Status checkbox is selected, the resource is available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

Bookable

Indicates you can report hours for a resource.

Subcontract Order Type

The ID of a subcontract order type related to a resource.

Unit

The unit of measure for a resource.

The value in the Unit field is HRS for human resources (department, production group, and external) and PCS for utility resources. For machine resources, you can define any unit of measure based on the requirement.

Default Overhead

The default overhead cost for one unit of a resource defined as a percentage value of the default cost.

Overhead costs are the indirect costs associated with using a resource such as electricity, maintenance, admin costs, and so on.

The following table describes the fields in the Availability tab.

Start

Start date: The start date from when the resource is available.

Finish

Finish date: The end date till when the resource is available.

Shift

The ID of a shift during which the resource is available.

Monday–Sunday

The availability of a resource for each day.

If the resource is a human resource, then the value is the number of people working in the production group on each day of the week.

If the resource is a machine, then the value is the number of machines working in the production group on each day of the week.

If the resource is a utility resource, then the value is the number of utilities available for work in the production group on each day of the week.
