Automatically add items to a piping Material Take-Off (MTO) line based on the rules defined in the s21016 Implied Item Rules screen. For example, if a gasket is required for every two flanges, then in the s21016 Implied Item Rules screen you can create a rule to specify the same. In the s22040 Piping MTO screen, if a piping MTO line contains two flanges, then you can use the Re-apply Implied Items functionality to automatically add a gasket as an MTO item for the piping MTO line.
For the general MTO line, in the MTO Lines grid, in the General tab, in the MTO Status field, ensure the value is No MTO, Working, or Confirmed.
-
Navigate to the s22041 General MTO screen.
-
In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.
-
To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.
-
In the MTO Lines grid, select a row.
-
On the s22041 menu, in the Add Position group, select Re-apply Implied Items.
A pop-up window appears.
-
Select Ok.
If any implied items exist for the selected general MTO line, the items are added to the MTO Items grid.
-
To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
