Create a material allocation run

Create a material allocation run. You can execute the material allocation run immediately or at a later time.

1. Navigate to the s23003 Material Allocation Run screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. On the s23003 menu, in the Manage Schedule group, select Create New Schedule.

   The w008 Allocation Run Setup wizard appears.

5. In the Apply Run Parameters page, in the Description field, enter the description of the material allocation run, and then select Next.

6. To include a material allocation package in the material allocation run, in the Select Material Allocation Packages page, peform the following:

   1. In the left grid, select the required material allocation package, and then select the right arrow.

      In the right grid, the selected material allocation package appears.

   2. To go to the next page, select Next.

7. To include a site Material Take-Off (MTO) in the material allocation run, in the Select Site MTOs page, perform the following:

   1. In the left grid, select the required site MTO, and then select the right arrow.

      In the right grid, the selected site MTO appears.

   2. To go to the next page, select Next.

8. To include a storehouse in the material allocation run, in the Select Stores page, in the left grid, select the required storehouse, and then select the right arrow.

   In the right grid, the selected storehouse appears.

9. Select Finish.

   The Material allocation run pop-up window appears.

10. In the Material allocation run pop-up window, perform one of the following:

    • To save the new material allocation and execute the run immediately, select Start Run Now.

      The new material allocation run is added to the Material Allocation Run grid. In the Allocation Result Details grid, view the results of the material allocation run.

    • To save the new material allocation run and execute the run later, select Start Later.

      The new material allocation run is added to the Material Allocation Run grid.
