Reinitialize a plugin

As an administrator, you can reinitialize a client or a server plugin. Use the Reinitialize Plugins functionality to reload the plugin from the defined source and reinitialize the plugin in the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management system memory. The Reinitialize Plugins functionality is applicable only for plugins developed using Lua.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

• In the d0073 ERM System Settings dialog, in the Administration tab, ensure the Enable Online Plugin Updates checkbox is selected.

• Before you use the Reinitialize Plugins functionality, ensure you close all the other screens in AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

To reinitialize the plugins

1. Navigate to the s00073 Plugins screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Plugins grid, select a row.

4. On the s00073 menu, in the Reinitialize group, select Reinitialize Plugins.

   A pop-up window appears.

5. Read the warning message and then select Ok.

   The plugins are reinitialized.
