Common fields in the screen

Field

Description

SI

Status Indicator: Indicates the status of a record related to validation errors, warnings, and updates.

Defined By

The ID of a user who created a record.

Defined At

The date and time when a record was created.

Updated By

The ID of a user who updated a record.

Updated At

The date and time when a record was updated.

Current Project control block

Field

Description

Project

The ID of a project a standard text is related to.

Description

The description of a project.

Status

Indicates the status of a project. If the Status checkbox is not selected, then the project is inactive and you cannot define, update, or delete standard texts for the project.

Template

Indicates a project is a template project. A template project is a standard project that can help set up projects with the same method and structure as the template project. If the Template checkbox is selected, the project is not included in material status calculations or budget calculations.

The following table describes the fields in the General tab.

Description

Standard Text ID

The unique ID of a standard text.

Description

The description of a standard text.

Standard Text Category

Indicates the grouping category related to a standard text.

Concepts

Indicates the concept for which a standard text is defined. The valid concepts are: TMR, RFQ, PO, PA, and Quote.

You can select multiple concepts. If you select all the checkboxes, the standard text is used on all documents. If you select the checkbox of a specific concept, the text is used only on documents relevant to the concept.

Default

Indicates the standard text is applied by default when creating a Technical Material Requisition (TMR), Request For Quote (RFQ), Purchase Order (PO), and Purchase Agreement (PA).

For example, for a standard text, if the Concept is TMR and the Default checkbox is selected, then the text is automatically applied to a TMR when a new TMR is created.

Status

Indicates the status of a standard text. If the Status checkbox is selected, the standard text is available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

Update Allowed

Indicates that you can update the standard text already existing in documents (TMR, RFQ, PO, and PA).
