Create a pipeline

A pipeline is used to define a piping structure with design and operational specifications. You can create multiple pipelines for a zone and assemble the pipelines during construction to convey fluids within a zone.

1. Navigate to the s22020 Pipelines screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Pipelines grid, a blank row is created.

5. Select the General tab and perform the following:

   • In the Pipeline Number field, enter the unique name of a pipeline.

   • From the System dropdown, select the ID of the system related to a pipeline.

6. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s22020 Field descriptions.

7. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The pipeline is created.
