Move or copy an item for a delivery note

Move or copy all or selected items to a new delivery note or an existing delivery note. If the delivery note is reopened, you cannot move or copy the items that are added before the delivery note is reopened.

Prerequisites

1. In the Delivery Note grid, in the General tab, in the Receipt Status field, ensure the value is not READY or RECEIVED.

2. For a delivery note, in the Position grid, perform one of the following:

   • For a delivery note of receipt type Free Receipt, in the Free Issue Material tab, in the Free Issue Material grid, in the General tab, in the Received Qty field, ensure a value is defined.

   • For a delivery note of receipt type PO/MMT Receipt, in the Po Items tab, in the Po items grid, in the General tab, in the Received Qty field, ensure a value is defined.

   • For a delivery note of receipt type Shipping Note Receipt, in the Site Transfer tab, in the Site Transfer grid, in the General tab, in the Received Qty field, ensure a value is defined.

3. To move or copy the item in a delivery note to an existing delivery note, in the General tab, in the Index field, ensure a value is defined for one or more delivery notes with the same value as defined in the Delivery Note Id field.

4. Navigate to the s60028 Stock item Delivery Registration screen.

5. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

6. In the Delivery Note grid, select a row.

7. In the Position grid, perform one of the following:

   • If the receipt type of the delivery note is PO/MMT Receipt, in Po Items tab, in the Po Items grid, select a row.

   • If the receipt type of the delivery note is Shipping Note Receipt, in the Site Transfer tab, in the Site Transfer grid, select a row.

   • If the receipt type of the delivery note is Free Receipt, in the Free Issue Material tab, in the Free Issue Material grid, select a row.

8. On the s60028 menu, in the Position Details group, perform one of the following:

   • To move an item from the selected delivery note to another delivery note, from the Position Break-out dropdown, select Move.

     The D0357 Move Receipt Items dialog appears.

   • To copy an item in the selected delivery note to another delivery note, from the Position Break-out dropdown, select Copy.

     The D0357 Copy Receipt Items dialog appears.

9. In the Select Target Delivery Note section, perform one of the following:

   • To move the item to a delivery note, perform one of the following:

     • To move the item to a new delivery note, select Create New.

     • To move the item to an existing delivery note, from the Amend to existing dropdown, select the ID of the required delivery note.

     Note: Ensure the selected item is not already present in the existing delivery note to which the item is moved.

   • To copy the item to a delivery note, perform one of the following:

     • To copy the item to a new delivery note, select Create New.

     • To copy the item to an existing delivery note, from the Amend to existing dropdown, select the ID of the required delivery note.

     Note: Ensure the selected item is not already present in the existing delivery note to which the item is copied.

10. Select Ok.

    If you move or copy to a new delivery note, the value in Delivery Note Id field is copied from the selected delivery note. For the new delivery note, the value in the Idx field is incremented from the maximum value of the Idx field for the selected delivery note. The items in the delivery note are moved or copied, with a value in the Received Qty field only for the selected delivery note position.

    If you move or copy to an existing delivery note, the items in the delivery note are moved or copied to the existing delivery note.
