Create a receipt process

Create a receipt process to define the workflow of a receipt or a delivery note in the stock item delivery registration process.

There are six steps in the workflow of a delivery note: PRELIM, PREPARED, COUNT/CMPL, QC/CMPL, READY, RECEIVED. For more information, see Update a receipt status. When you create a receipt process for a delivery note, the steps PRELIM and RECEIVED are the mandatory steps. However, you can define whether the following four steps are disabled, optional, or required: PREPARED, COUNT/CMPL, QC/CMPL, and READY.

By default, a receipt process is available for use across all projects. To use the receipt process in a specific project, in the Project field, you can define the project for the receipt process.

  1. Navigate to the s60029 Receipt Processes screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

In the Receipt Processes grid, a blank row is created.

  4. Select the General tab and perform the following:

    • In the Id field, enter the unique ID of a receipt process.

    • In the Description field, enter the description of the receipt process.

    • For each workflow step (Prepare Receipt, Count Inspection, QC Inspection, and Final Approvals), from the Workflow Step Optional/Required? dropdown, select one of the following:

      • Disabled: Indicates a workflow step is not available in the receipt process of a delivery note.

      • Optional: Indicates a workflow step is available but the workflow step is not a mandatory step in the receipt process of a delivery note.

      • Required: Indicates a workflow step is a mandatory step in the receipt process of a delivery note.

  5. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s60029 Field descriptions.

  6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The receipt process is created.
