Common fields in the screen

Field

Description

SI

Status Indicator: Indicates the status of a record related to validation errors, warnings, and updates.

Defined By

The ID of a user who created a record.

Defined At

The date and time when a record was created.

Updated By

The ID of a user who updated a record.

Updated At

The date and time when a record was updated.

Remark

The comments related to a site Material Take-Off (MTO).

Description

Project

The ID of a project related to a site MTO.

Material Category

The ID of a material category related to an item in a site MTO.

Item Id

The ID of a material added as an item in a site MTO.

Material Allocation Package

The ID of a material allocation package related to a site MTO. For the MTO items that are not part of the site MTO, in the Material Details grid, in the Status field, a purple icon appears.

Activity

The ID of a construction activity for which the items in a site MTO are delivered.

The following table describes the fields in the General tab.

Field

Description

MTO Identification

The unique ID of a site MTO.

MTO-Line

The ID of a pipeline or a material control section for which a site MTO is created.

Pipeline Number

The ID of a pipeline related to a site MTO.

For a site MTO, if the value in the Origin field is PMTO, then the value in the Pipeline Number field is the ID of a pipeline related to a piping MTO line created in the s22040 Piping MTO screen.

Drawing No

The drawing number related to a site MTO. For a site MTO, you can update the Drawing No field only if the value in the Origin field is Manual.

Sheet Number

The sheet number in a drawing related to a site MTO. For a site MTO, you can update the Sheet Number field only if the value in the Origin field is Manual.

Revision

The revision number of the drawing defined in the Drawing No field.

Discipline

The ID and description of a drawing discipline related to a site MTO.

Construction Area

The ID and description of a construction area related to a site MTO.

Origin

The origin of a site MTO. The values are:

  • PMTO: Indicates the site MTO is a piping MTO created in the s20040 Piping MTO screen.

  • GMTO: Indicates the site MTO is a general MTO created in the s20041 General MTO screen.

  • Manual: Indicates the site MTO is manually created in the s23001 Site MTO screen.

Version

The version number of a site MTO. When you reopen a site MTO, the version number increases by one.

Material Control Section

The ID of a material control section related to a site MTO.

For a site MTO, if the value in the Origin field is GMTO, then the value in the Material Control Section field is the ID of a material control section related to a general MTO line created in the s22041 General MTO screen.

System

The ID of a system related to a site MTO.

MTO Type

The ID of an MTO type related to a site MTO.

Material Quality

The quality of the MTO type defined in the MTO Type field. The values are Actual, Estimate, and None.

Delivery Designation

The ID of a delivery designation related to a site MTO.

Site Id

The ID of a site where the items in a site MTO are delivered.

Subcontractor

The ID of a subcontractor assigned to receive the items in a site MTO. The valid values are the contacts marked as active subcontractors in the s50013 Contacts screen.

Priority

The priority number assigned to a site MTO.

The following table describes the fields in the Status tab.

Field

Description

Engineering Update

The status of the latest engineering updates made for a site MTO. The values are:

  • C (Changed): Indicates changes are made to the site MTO in the s22040 Piping MTO screen or the s22041 General MTO screen.

  • N (New): Indicates the site MTO is a new MTO created in the s22040 Piping MTO screen or the s22041 General MTO screen.

  • D (Deleted): Indicates the site MTO is deleted in the s22040 Piping MTO screen or the s22041 General MTO screen.

  • O (Ongoing): Indicates there are no changes to the site MTO in the s22040 Piping MTO screen or the s22041 General MTO screen.

Issued

The issue status of a site MTO. The values are None, Full, and Partial.

MTO Status

The status of a site MTO. The values are New, Open, and Retire.

DRL Reservation Status

The reservation status of a site MTO. The values are:

  • N (Not Reserved): Indicates none of the items in the site MTO are reserved.

  • F (Fully Reserved): Indicates all the items in the site MTO are reserved.

  • P (Partially Reserved): Indicates some items in the site MTO are reserved.

MTO Production Date

The start date of the activity related to a site MTO.

Site MTO Start Date

The start date of a site MTO.

Accept Eng Changes

Accept Engineering Changes: The date when the latest engineering changes is accepted for a site MTO.

Engineering Update Date

The date when a site MTO is last updated to reflect the engineering changes.

Site MTO Retired at

The date when a site MTO is retired.

The following table describes the fields in the General tab.

MS

Material Substitution: Indicates a substitute material is defined and approved for the site MTO item in the s20023 Material Substitution and Deviation screen.

Line Number

The unique number to identify the individual items within a site MTO.

Item Id

The ID of a material added as a site MTO item.

Delivery Designation

The ID of a delivery designation related to a site MTO item.

Item Description

The description of a material added as a site MTO item.

Activity

The ID of an activity related to a site MTO item.

Installation Norm Hours

The number of hours required to install a site MTO item.

Specification

The ID of a specification added as a site MTO item.

Material Preparation

The ID and description of a material preparation milestone that specifies which preparation template is used for the material added as a site MTO item.

Unit

The unit of measure for a site MTO item.

Material Category

The ID of a material category related to a site MTO item.

Site

The ID of a site where a site MTO item is required.

Item Origin

The origin of a site MTO item. The values are E (Engineering) and S (Site).

Reservation Status

The reservation status of a site MTO item. The values are:

  • N (Not Reserved): Indicates the required quantity of a site MTO item is not reserved.

  • F (Fully Reserved): Indicates the required quantity of a site MTO item is fully reserved.

  • P (Partially Reserved): Indicates the required quantity of a site MTO item is partially reserved.

System

The ID of a system related to a site MTO item.

Eng Update

The status of the latest engineering updates made for a site MTO item. The values are:

  • C (Changed): Indicates changes are made to the site MTO item in the s22040 Piping MTO screen or the s22041 General MTO screen.

  • N (New): Indicates the site MTO item is a new MTO item created in the s22040 Piping MTO screen or the s22041 General MTO screen.

  • D (Deleted): Indicates the site MTO item is deleted in the s22040 Piping MTO screen or the s22041 General MTO screen.

  • O (Ongoing): Indicates there are no changes to the site MTO item in the s22040 Piping MTO screen or the s22041 General MTO screen.

Non Conformance

The total number of material non-conformances raised for a site MTO item.

Project Holding

The total stock holding for a site MTO item in the project selected in the Current Material control block.

Unit Weight

The default weight of a material per unit.

Total Weight

The total weight of a site MTO item.

Pick List Qty

The quantity of a site MTO item allocated to a picking list.

Issued Qty

The quantity of a site MTO item issued through a picking list.

Overissued Qty

The excess quantity issued more than the required quantity for a site MTO item.

Engineering Qty

The required quantity of a site MTO item.

Engineering Unit

The unit of measure for the value in the Engineering Qty field.

Accepted Engineering Qty

The latest approved quantity for a site MTO item.

Site Qty

The quantity of a site MTO item required for construction or fabrication activities at a site. The quantity is controlled by the user responsible for the site. The value in the Site Qty field matches the value in the Engineering Qty field. However, you can update the Site Qty field as required.

If design changes occur in the engineering MTOs and the related piping MTO or general MTO are updated, then use the Accept Eng Changes functionality to align the Site Qty and the Engineering Qty fields, and incorporate any added or removed items.

Site Adjustment Qty

The additional quantity of a site MTO item required for construction or fabrication activities at a site. For example, extra bolts or pipe for cutting and wastage purposes. The value in the Site Adjustment Qty field is a site requirement and not a design requirement. You can update the Site Adjustment Qty field only if the Site Adjustment Percentage field has no value.

Site Adjustment Percentage

The additional quantity of a site MTO item required for construction or fabrication activities at a site, defined in percentage. For example, extra bolts or pipe for cutting and wastage purposes. The value in the Site Adjustment Percentage field is a site requirement and not a design requirement. You can update the Site Adjustment Percentage field only if the Site Adjustment Qty field has no value.

Adjust Total Site Qty

The total quantity of a site MTO item required for allocation and issue. The value in the Adjust Total Site Qty field includes the requirement from design and the site adjustment quantity.
