Confirm a piping MTO line

After you confirm the piping Material Take-Off (MTO) line, the MTO line is ready for approval.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

• For a piping MTO line, in the MTO Lines grid, in the General tab, perform the following:

  1. In the MTO Status field, ensure the value is Working.

  2. In the MTO Type field, ensure you select an MTO type for which the value in the MTO Quality field is Actual.

  3. In the Drawing No field, ensure a value is defined.

• For each MTO item related to the piping MTO line, in the MTO Items grid, in the General tab, in the Delivery Designation field, ensure a value is defined.

To confirm a piping MTO line

1. Navigate to the s22040 Piping MTO screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the MTO Lines grid, select a row.

5. On the s22040 menu, in the Workflow group, from the Workflow dropdown, select Confirm.

   In the MTO Lines grid, in the General tab, the value in the MTO Status field is updated to Confirmed.

6. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
