Add a target mapping to a schedule milestone

Map a field of a schedule template milestone to another field. For example, when you map the Deadline Duration field as the source property and the Milestone Duration field as the target property, then in the s51004 Expediting screen, when the milestones are generated for the expedite items in a PO, the value in the Deadline Duration field is coped to the value in the Milestone Duration field.

1. Navigate to the s52001 Inspection /Expedite Schedule Templates screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Inspection Schedule Templates grid, select a row.

4. In the Inspection Schedule Milestones grid, select a row.

5. Select the Target Mappings tab and select anywhere in the grid.

6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the grid, a blank row is created.

7. Perform the following:

   • From the Source Prop dropdown, select the source property for the mapping.

   • From the Target Entity dropdown, select the target entity from the mapping.

   • From the Target Prop dropdown, select the target property for the mapping.

8. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s52001 Field descriptions.

9. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The source field is mapped to the target field for the schedule template milestone.
