Create a material treatment code

A material treatment code describes how to handle a material and the treatment rules for a material.

1. Navigate to the s20006 Special Mat Treatments screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

   In the Treatment Codes grid, a blank row is created.

4. Select the General tab and enter the relevant details in the following fields:

   • Treatment Code: The unique code to identify and group materials that require same kind of handling and treatment.

   • Description: The description of the material treatment code.

5. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s20006 Field descriptions.

6. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The material treatment code is created.
