Update the change details for a time-phased project

For a project, if the Use time phase budget checkbox is selected in the s10001 Projects screen, then the project is considered a time-phased project. You can view the Change Details grid only if a time-phased project is selected in the Current Project control block.

Based on the selected time-phased project, the field names in the Change Details grid are dynamically updated to reflect the budget group and the active time phases defined for the project in the s10025 Budget Group screen and the s10024 Budget Time Phase screen, respectively.

  1. Navigate to the s10010 System Budget Changes screen.

  2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

    Ensure the selected project is a time-phased project.

  3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  4. In the Budget Change grid, select a row.

    In the Change Details grid, view the budget groups and the active time phases defined for the selected project.

  5. In the Change Details grid, select a budget group.

    For the selected budget group, in the s10025 Budget Group screen, ensure the value in the Budget Group Field Type field is Manual Entry.

  6. Select the cell for the time phase you want to update.

  7. Select the Change tab, in the Amount field, enter a number to modify the budget value for the selected time phase.

  8. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
