Accept or reject a delivery date suggestion for a PO

For a Purchase Order (PO), you can accept or reject the delivery date suggestions sent by the related supplier through the Supplier Portal.

  1. Navigate to the s51001 Delivery Control screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. On the s51001 menu, in the Supplier Portal Feedback group, select Show Suggestions.

    In the Purchase Order Header grid, all the POs with delivery date suggestions appear.

  4. In the Purchase Order Header grid, select a row.

  5. On the s51001 menu, in the Supplier Portal Feedback group, select Process Delivery Date Suggestions.

    The d0179 Suggested Delivery Dates dialog appears. By default, for each delivery date suggestion, the value in the Status field is No Answer.

  6. In the d0179 Suggested Delivery Dates dialog, perform one of the following:

    • If no decision is made for the suggested delivery date yet, then ensure the value in the Status dropdown is No Answer.

    • To accept a delivery date suggestion sent by the supplier, perform the following:

      1. In the Positions grid, select a row.

      2. From the Status dropdown, select Accepted.

      3. Select Submit.

        The value in the Suggested Del Date field is copied to the Forecast Delivery Date field.

        For the selected PO position, in the Purchase Order Position grid, in the General tab, the value in the Forecast Delivery Date field is updated.

      1. To reject a delivery date suggestion sent by the supplier, perform the following:

        1. In the Position grid, select a row.

        2. From the Status dropdown, select Rejected.

        3. In the Reason for Reject field, enter the reason for rejecting the delivery date suggestion.

        4. Select Submit.

          For the selected PO position, an email is sent to the supplier with the reason for rejecting the delivery date suggestion.

        Note: If no decision is made regarding the suggested delivery date, then ensure the value in the Status field is No Answer.
