Generate schedule milestones for the expedite items in a PO

Generate schedule milestones for the expedite items in a Purchase Order (PO) related to a schedule. The same milestones are generated for all the expedite items in the PO in the s51004 Expediting screen.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

• In the Milestones grid, in the General tab, ensure the Forecast Start and Forecast Complete fields for all milestones of the schedule are updated. For more information, see Reschedule the forecast date of a schedule.

• Ensure the Schedule Type is Expediting.

To generate schedule milestones for the expedite items in a PO

1. Navigate to the s52002 Inspection / Expedite Schedule screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the Inspection Schedules grid, select a row.

5. On the s52002 menu, in the Actions group, select Generate Schedule - All Expedite Items.

   A pop-up window with the result appears.

   View the number of milestones created for the number of expedite items in the PO.

6. Select Ok.

   In the s51004 Expediting screen, in the Expediting Items grid, the schedule milestones are created in the Schedule tab for all the expedite items in the Exp. Items tab.
