Accept engineering changes for a site MTO

Accept the engineering changes made to a piping Material Take-Off (MTO) or a general MTO in the s22040 Piping MTO screen and the s22041 General MTO screen, respectively.

The Accept Eng Changes functionality is applicable only if there are changes made to the engineering MTOs in the s22040 Piping MTO screen and the s22041 General MTO screen. The Accept Eng Changes functionality is not applicable for manually created site MTOs.

1. Navigate to the s23001 Site MTO screen.

2. In the Current Material control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the Site MTO grid, select a row.

   For the selected site MTO, in the General tab, in the Origin field, ensure the value is PMTO or GMTO.

5. On the s23001 menu, select Accept Eng Changes.

   The engineering changes made to the selected site MTO are accepted. You can view the following changes:

   • In the Site MTO grid, in the Status tab, in the MTO Status field, the value is updated to Open.

   • In the Site MTO grid, in the Status tab, the Accept Eng Changes field is updated.

   • For each MTO item related to the selected site MTO, in the Material Details grid, in the General tab, the value in the Engineering Qty field is copied to the Site Qty field.
