Generate a nameplate for a project component

Generate a nameplate with the details of a project component.

1. Navigate to the s20010 Project Components screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the required project ID.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the Project Component grid, select a row.

5. Select the Nameplate tab.

6. On the s20010 menu, in the Project Component Actions group, select Gen Nameplate.

   The data in the Project Component Id and Description fields in the General 1 tab is copied to the Nameplate Id and the Nameplate Text Line 1 fields respectively. Additionally, if the selected project component is related to a standard material, the data in the Description field in the General 2 tab is copied to the Nameplate Text Line 2 field.

7. (Optional) Modify the fields in the Nameplate tab according to your requirements. For more information on all the fields, see s20010 Field descriptions.

8. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
