Open a hull unit material list

Change the external status of a hull unit material list to PL is Open. When the planning status of the hull unit material list is Not Planned or Partly Planned and the technical status is Design Phase, Changing/Updating in Progress, On Hold, or Is Copied, the external status is automatically updated to PL is Open.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

• Ensure you save all the changes in the hull unit material list.

• Ensure the external status of the hull unit material list is not PL is Open.

To open a hull unit material list

1. Navigate to the s30000 Hull Unit Material List screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Hull Unit Material List Header grid, select a row.

4. On the s30000 menu, in the Status group, from the Workflow dropdown, select Open.

   The external status of the hull unit material list is updated to PL is Open.

5. (Optional) To revert the status update, on the s30000 menu, in the Status group, select Revert.

6. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
