Generate barcode for an inspection visit

Generate a unique barcode for each visit pack in an inspection visit. After you generate barcode, you can scan the items in the inspection visit and issue an Inspection Release Certificate or Non-Release Certificate for the items.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, complete the following:

In the Inspection Visit grid, in the General tab, ensure the Release checkbox is selected.

In the Inspection Visit grid, in the General tab, ensure the status of the inspection visit is Locked. For more information, see, Lock an inspection visit.

In the Expedite Items grid, in the Allocated tab, in the General tab, ensure the Visit Pack ID field is updated for all the allocated items.
To generate barcode for an inspection visit

Navigate to the s52006 Inspection Visits screen.

In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the project related to an inspection visit.

To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

In the Inspection Visit grid, select a row.

On the s52006 menu, in the Visit Pack options group, select Generate Barcode.
In the Expedite Items grid, in the Allocated grid, in the General tab, the Barcode field is updated for all allocated items.

On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
In the Inspection Visit grid, in the Inspection Packs tab, the barcode for each inspection pack appears.
