Reschedule the forecast date of an expedite item

The forecast date is the date for the completion of the activities related to a schedule of an expedite item. Update the Forecast Start and Forecast Complete fields for all the milestones of an expedite item using the Duration before milestone and Milestone Duration fields in the Expedite Items grid, in the Schedule tab.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

• In the s52002 Inspection / Expedite Schedule screen, ensure the status of the schedule related to the expedite item is Open or Change.

• In the Expedite Items grid, in the Exp Items tab, in the Schedule tab, ensure the Actual field is empty.

To reschedule the forecast date of an expedite item

1. Navigate to the s51004 Expediting screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Expedite Header grid, select a row.

4. In the Expedite Items grid, select the Exp Items tab, and then select a row.

5. On the s51004 menu, in the Scheduling group, select Reschedule Forecast.

   In the Expedite Items grid, in the Exp Items tab, in the Schedule tab, the Forecast Start and Forecast Complete fields for all the milestones are updated based on the values in the Duration before milestone and Milestone Duration fields.

6. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
