Calculate the work required for selected BoQ templates

Calculate selected product code templates related to a Bill of Quantity (BoQ). The total work calculated in a BoQ template is displayed in the Quantity field. If a BoQ holds an item related to a product code no longer associated with the BoQ, then the item is deleted as part of the calculation. 1. Navigate to the s21030 Bill Of Quantity screen.

2. In the Current Project control block, from the Project dropdown, select the ID of the required project.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the Bill of Quantity grid, select a row.

5. Select the Template tab, and select one or more rows.

6. On the s12030 menu, in the BoQ group, from the Calculate Selected Templates dropdown, select one of the following:

   • To calculate the selected product code templates and delete all BoQ items created from the templates, select Clear unreferenced Templates.

   • To calculate the selected product code templates, select Keep unreferenced Templates.

     A pop-up window appears.

7. Select Yes.

   A pop-up window appears.

8. Read the message and select Ok.

   The Job Started pop-up window appears. A job is triggered in the background to calculate the amount of work required for the selected BoQ.

   When the Job Completed pop-up window appears, the calculation for the selected template is completed.
