Edit an email attachment of an email template

Edit an existing attachment added to an email template. To add an email attachment, see Add an email attachment to an email template.

  1. Navigate to the s00027 E-Mail Templates screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Template Types grid, select a row.

  4. Select the Email Attachment tab.

  5. In the Attachments grid, select the attachment you want to edit.

  6. On the s00027 menu, in the Email Attachments group, select Edit Attachment.

    The w012 Select Report/Dext query for template wizard appears.

  7. In the Select the Document to generate page, select the required report or data extract, and select Next.

  8. Perform one of the following:

    • If the selected attachment is a report, in the Specify Report Parameters page, select the required parameters, and select Next.

    • If the selected attachment is a data extract, in the Specify Data Extract Parameters page, select the required parameters, and select Next.

  9. In the Specify File Output page, perform the following:

    1. In the Filename field, update the name of the document.

    2. From the File Format dropdown, select the format for the attachment.

      If the attachment is a report, the supported file type is PDF. If the attachment is a data extract, the supported file types are Excel, CSV, JSON, EIWM, and XML.

  10. Select Finish.

    The edited attachment is added to the Attachments grid, in the Email Attachment tab.
