Create a procurement lead time

A procurement lead time determines the time taken for a task done outside AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management. For example, shipping time, manufacturing lead time, and so on. For procurement lead times, only an estimate duration is required and Baseline, Forecast, or Actual Date is not required. Create a procurement lead time which to use in a procurement schedule. If a project is selected for a procurement milestone, then lead time is available for use only in procurement schedules related to the selected project. If a project is not selected for a procurement milestone, the Corporate checkbox is selected, and the lead time is available for use in procurement schedules related to any project.

  1. Navigate to the s50033 Procurement Milestones screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Home menu, in the Record group, select Create.

    In the Procurement Milestones grid, a blank row is created.

  4. Select the General tab, from the Schedule Item Type dropdown, select LT (Procurement Lead Time).

  5. Enter the relevant details in the following fields:

    • Id: The unique ID of a procurement lead time.

    • Description: The description of the procurement lead time.

  6. (Optional) Enter the relevant details in other fields as required. For more information on all the fields, see s50033 Field descriptions.

  7. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

    The procurement lead time is created.
